My kid is not only cute, but a genius...

This is my new series on Taylor Talk. (Let's just get this genius documented) I will be posting a few different segments showing Taylor talking and signing. In the pictures you may notice the shoes over his jamjams. This was his choice for the photo shoot. He rather likes wearing lots of clothes in video shots...Ooops! I guess I shouldn't have got him in his nuddy pants. By the way, you'll have to excuse my British terms. I have been reading Angus, Thongs, and Full Frontal Snogging, and On the Bright Side, I'm Now the Girlfriend of a Sex God, both British teen books that are silly, a little crude, and make me laugh out loud. Now on with the show:

I turn my back for five minutes...

I was babysitting our good friends youngest boys Monday morning. After we were done eating breakfast they all went upstairs to "play" while I cleaned up. I was completely shocked when I came up stairs. This is what I found...

BFF

On Sunday my two best friends from childhood, Angie and Hailey, came to visit me. Hailey brought her two kids and Angie brought the baby in her tummy and her cute dog Ruby. We had fun eating junk, staying up late, going out to lunch, and then shopping. I didn't get nearly enough pictures.

First Day of Pre-School for Ninja Number One

I am so excited for Caleb to start pre-school (and not just for the little break I am getting). Caleb will do well in pre-school. He loves to learn and does well with structure. It looks like Taylor is jealous... ...then again, maybe he is poised for an attack. Why do my children want to destroy me?

My new nephew

My sister Jennifer just had her first baby in July. I love seeing newborns. They are amazing. They named him Joshua Allen Harris. My husband is Joshua Stephen, and my son's name is Joshua Caleb. Caleb pretty much thinks they named their baby after him. I think Joshua is one of my favorite names. I think he will go by AJ or Joshua, which is different than my Joshuas who go by Josh and Caleb respectively.

McDonald's- justification, fun, and repulsion

McDonald's. Just the thought of eating there actually makes me gain weight. I can feel the pounds piling on. Perhaps it is just my stomach's pit reaction as it turns and remembers the last time I ate there. I used to order a Happy Meal for Caleb and get myself a double cheeseburger, a spicy chicken sandwich and a water. Two bucks! I thought that sounded okay until one day I was looking at the Happy Meal bag while I was eating. They listed calories associated with Happy Meal choices. Apples vs. fries, box drink vs. milk, etc. Then they listed the calories for a Double Cheeseburger (I don't know why) and I about threw up mid eating. If you have ever had a Double Cheeseburger, you know they are not really that big. It has 440 calories! The dollar menu spicy chicken is not even listed, but it is deep fried and has a ton of mayo on it. I would guess it is about 500. So I was eating a "light" lunch of nearly a 1,000 calories. That doesn't even count the ...

Visiting Grandpa, Helen, Jerry, and Terry

I love visiting my Grandparents in Idaho. It is always a fun time. Helen is my grandpa's wife and surrogate grandma. My uncle Jerry and Helen's son Terry both live there with them.

My parents

I love this happy picture of my mom and dad. I wish I would have taken a better shot.

Kennecott Tire Dominates!!!!!...or will it?

I can just hear Caleb thinking, "I can take it!"
