We have a children's CD for Caleb that has a song about lying. One of the phrases says, "you'll be in trouble up to your ears." So today I lost Caleb at Wal-mart. I looked on my own for a while and after several minutes I realized I needed help. I went to the Customer Service dept. and they announced a "Code Adam" with a description for a lost 3 year old boy. I was forced to wait up at the front and watch the doors to make sure nobody left with Caleb while the Wal-mart crew looked for him. I didn't feel as stupid when a mother, having misheard the PDA announcement, came running up to the front thinking they had found her 3 year old son. We stood there together shaking our heads about 3 year olds, trying to laugh about it, but feeling extremely worried for them.
