Kennecott Tire Dominates!!!!!...or will it?

I can just hear Caleb thinking, "I can take it!"

Grandma Chardan & Taylor

This is Taylor loving Grandma Chardan (my mom). I told him to give her kisses and he did!

Random FHE popcorn popping

My parents are here for the week to celebrate my sister's new baby. We were able to have an FHE together the day before the baby was born. Nothing remarkable here, except that any good mormon should have a video of popcorn popping for posterity.

I am just trying to be a nice person...

So yesterday I was lectured two times by people I didn't know. First, let's start with my parking job. After swimming, I came out and found a note on my car. It said, "You parked so close to my car that I couldn't open my passenger door...Next time please be more considerate! Thanks! " I just happened to have my camera in hand and so I took a picture to show the world how disgracefully I parked. The mystery to me is how I was able to get out of my driver side door when I was SO close. Actually, to be honest, I think it was really a matter of personal dimensions. (the person who left the note parked to the right of this photo) Secondly, I was standing by the milk at the grocery store, looking iffily (made up that word) at the price ($2.69/gallon). So it isn't that I think that is outrageous, but Smith's often has milk 2/$5 or even 2/$4. I remember when I lived in Seattle, the milk was often $4-5/gallon, so I have definitely seen worse. Anyhow, myst...

Weekly Caleb Funny

Caleb and I were eating a grapefruit yesterday (which, by the way he loves) and he couldn't remember what to call it. He asked, "is this grapefruit juice on the cob?"

Friends from Austin

Multiplying and replenishing...which of these is not like the other? My friend Maegan just posted this picture on Facebook, but I loved it and wanted it on my blog, so thanks Maegan! About a month ago Jamie and kids came up from Austin and so it was a great time to get the gang together. First off to Wheeler farms and then to Fazoli's. It was so great to see Maegan and Jamie!

Vacation Blogging

This may be the first real family vacation we have been on. Thusly, I must blog... Denver vacationing: First we stayed with my good friends Samantha and Easton (from my days in Provo) and her cute family in Millikin, CO. She is expecting her third . It was a girl until the end of the week, when it magically turned into a boy on the ultrasound. Samantha and Easton make the best homemade pizza I have ever tasted. Delicious! They even made it stuffed crust with cheese. Next we headed off to Severance, CO to see our friends Steffenie and Nolan. They lived near us in Austin. They had Lexa a few months after we moved in. She is a big girl now! I have lots of fond memories taking walks with Steffenie and our friend Carrie when she was trying to get that baby to come! Lexa and Caleb got married while we played a good game of Ticket to Ride. So, they fed us delicious Hawaiian haystacks, and strawberry shortcake (new favorite recipe-found on Bisquick box). They al...
