Caleb noticed Taylor had his ninja turtle in his mouth this afternoon so he walked over and pulled it out saying, "TAYLOR THIS IS NOT A TOY!"
That loosely reminds me of Caleb's favorite book these days, Not a Stick.

This book explores the imagination and makes me feel guilty for stifling it. Recently when I ask Caleb why he won't take his towel off or put down the favored 3" x 24" box, he replies, "IT'S MY NOT-A-TOWEL/IT'S MY NOT-A-BOX"

Caleb has a bedtime routine written out on a piece of paper (in pictures) hanging on his wall. Caleb must follow this routine in its exact order and after each item is completed, we have to go through the list until he comes to something he hasn't done. To signify if he has done it he barks, to signify that he has not he loudly growls. I know this has something to do with Josh. (the OCD list and the barking) It is a major part of the bedtime routine.
Example:
Have we put on PJs? (bark)
Have you gone to the bathroom? (bark)
Have you washed your hands? (bark)
Have you brushed your teetch (GROWL)
...and then over and over again.

Maybe if I catered to it more and followed a better schedule she would freak out less. Does it work to cater to it? I always feel like I'm encouraging it when I cater to it. Maybe she needs it though.
