On our way to grandma's house yesterday I told Caleb we were three minutes away. He said, "Three Binutes! That's too many days!"

when Romeo and Juliet came out in 1996 my hair was exactly like Claire Danes (Juliet) in the movie. I had people constantly telling me that I looked just like "the girl" in Romeo and Juliet. About once a year I have someone tell me that.

I got this idea from Rachel's blog...Note that there is a male in this. Most people say I look like Claire Danes, not listed.

Upon entering the car this afternoon, some old orange juice was discovered. Caleb wanted to drink it, of course. Josh told him it was old and Caleb said "I just drinked it." Josh said, "When did you last drink it?" Caleb replied, "On 42nd south."

A week ago Josh and I went on our annual executive retreat, wherein we plan our family goals for the upcoming year. For lack of funds we decided to go camping. We had heard about a fatal bear attack in American Fork canyon, but we had no idea where it had happened in the canyon. There are many places to camp up there. We chose a pretty place and set up camp near dusk. I have to admit I was a little nervous. During the night we could hear bears. That made us a little nervous. But it wasn't until the next morning when I really felt scared. Every tree in our campsite was shredded by bears as high as I could reach. It was like a horror film. It wasn't until we got home that we were informed that the bear attack was in Timpooneke, the section we had camped in.

We have a children's CD for Caleb that has a song about lying. One of the phrases says, "you'll be in trouble up to your ears." So today I lost Caleb at Wal-mart. I looked on my own for a while and after several minutes I realized I needed help. I went to the Customer Service dept. and they announced a "Code Adam" with a description for a lost 3 year old boy. I was forced to wait up at the front and watch the doors to make sure nobody left with Caleb while the Wal-mart crew looked for him. I didn't feel as stupid when a mother, having misheard the PDA announcement, came running up to the front thinking they had found her 3 year old son. We stood there together shaking our heads about 3 year olds, trying to laugh about it, but feeling extremely worried for them. It turns out Caleb was in the book section about 6 feet in front of me, but over a high wall. After the incident Caleb wanted me to buy him some candy and I said "no, you are...

Caleb only wants to be washed off in the bath tub when it is "40 40 40." So we just have to say, "It's 40 40 40!"

Today I am happy to be a mother of my two boys. In this picture of Taylor at seven weeks old, he looks just like baby Caleb.

Yesterday we went to the Valora family's house for dinner. Caleb asked, "Does Valora have toys?"

Today Taylor was on Caleb's bed. I was telling Caleb that Taylor is growing fast because he wants to be big enough to play. Caleb said, "yeah, he's growing up on my bed."

I have been diagnosed with ADHD. I never realized how funny, yet frustrating it is. For example, one of the worst things a person with ADD can do is let their prescription for ritalin run out because in a scatter brained state nobody ever goes back in. I let mine run out about five years ago.

I finally put up all of our pictures today. Caleb came into the living room and said, "hhuuh, mom, this is fantastic."
