The snake in my utility closet I called Josh kind of freaking out. I didn't want it to come into the house and I wasn't about to touch it in any way. His co-workers were over hearing this conversation and kind of laughing. I decided to put a towel over the opening and plug it up. Before doing that I decided to take pictures. For some reason I could not get a clear picture. Finally I got a good long look and got the following picture: What do you see? Do you see the pattern on it's head or the eye balls? Or do you see a piece of fuzz? Yep, a piece of fuzz. yep...more laughing from co-workers

New Year's Day

Josh's brother Dan and his family came to visit us from Plano on New Year's day. It was great to see them. Even though Taylor is crazy, I think he enjoyed playing with his two year old cousin, Jacob. The fun weekend culminated with a cockroach running across the kitchen. I freaked out and Michelle got it out of the house for me. That was embarassing!

Christmas 2009, part 4

Back to the condo for games, movies and popcorn When we got home we still had a few presents we couldn't bring with us.

Christmas 2009, part 3

Christmas afternoon we left the island and headed to Corpus for Christmas dinner at my Aunt Marcie's house. It was the perfect time to break out the AWESOMEST gift ever from Ben and Sarah (way to go Sarah!) It was costumes for doing a nativity. You have to check out the above link. We started the program with singing from the Weatherston clan, then on to Josh reading the Luke 2. Caleb was doing ninja moves, Taylor was making tough man faces and Eli was crying. It was so spiritual.

Christmas 2009, part 2

This Christmas we stayed at the Mayan Princess condos on Mustang Island with my parents. It was beautiful, but cold, so we didn't even go out on the beach.

This is our second photo shoot.

Random pictures from Thanksgiving

We had Thanksgiving dinner at my Aunt Karen's house this year. My uncle Thom's wife came, whom I haven't seen for probably 15 years. It was delicious and a great time. Too bad we didn't take many pictures. Uncle Thom & Uncle Paul The three Weatherston cousins on missions came home this year. They actually made this sign just for Matthew as a joke. My mom, Caleb, and Uncle Paul (Andrew in the background, Julie in the foreground) cousin Bryan holding Caleb, my mom, Andrew and Katie in the background Aunt Sandra (not seen for 15 years), Uncle Thom, and cousin Kaitlyn cousin Stacy holding my niece Holly Dianna and Uncle Paul

Our first photo shoot, November 2009
