T'ai Cheese

Most days Caleb and I do "Super School." This is organized time with Caleb in the mornings that includes a lesson, activity, reading and free time. One of the parts of Super School is excercise. Today Caleb picked out a T'ai Chi video to do. He was expecting it to look more like ninjitsu action. After about five minutes (surprising long) Caleb said, "I am done with T'ai Cheese!" I must admit that is exactly how I was feeling. I have never inhaled or exhaled my Chi before and it was a little rusty.

Elmo

Caleb will sometimes do things for Elmo that he won´t do for his mother. That is why I asked Elmo and Caleb to go to the bathroom this morning before Caleb had an accident. He proceeded to tell me, anatomically speaking, why Elmo couldn´t possibly go to the bathroom. I must say I was impressed. See...notice on diagram A.... Perhaps it was Elmo indeed who taught this to him, as we did just attend Discovery Gateway´s ¨Sesame Street Presents the Body." It was there that we learned that ¨everybody poops.¨

Jenni in Colorado

My friend Jenni moved to Colorado a few weeks ago and I miss her so much. It really stinks when you don't know someone for very long but you love them! I guess you always hope you will be able to keep in contact. I like to look at her new etsy site (hand made crafts) to remind me about her. I love her baby booties the most. Taylor was the under paid baby model during the creation phase. For a while every time I saw Jenni she pulled out a booty and asked if she could try it on Taylor. I thought that was so cute. Not that I am moping around all day, but I can't describe how much I miss having her around.

The Contest is over!

For the last fourteen weeks I have been in the K-mart New Day Your Way weight loss contest. Last year one of the women who won lost 22lbs, so I figured I could do that! Well, I weighed in for the last time today and lost, according to their records 25.5 lbs. I was starting to think I may be in the running. The contest is based on weight loss (BMI), over all appearance, and an essay. Unfortunately I didn't submit my essay on time because I was confused on the dates so unless they have sympathy on me, I am inelligible. I am trying to think the weight loss and health are better than $10,000. I mean, they are great, but not priceless. I would gain 25 lbs for $10,000. Anyway, I got Josh to take this picture of me today to mark the end of my contest. The next fourteen weeks will be devoted to Josh and his goals.

Can this be real?

One of the most dowloaded stories in Utah...tell me this isn't an April Fool's thing. Anyhow, old Snoop Dogg converts to Mormonism? Here's his comment about the missionaries coming to his door: “Y’all know me,” he said grinning broadly. “There were just certain things the old me -- the "natural man" -- needed to do. And these young guys are telling me that God’s not down with disrespecting ourselves. But it’s cool now.”
